In honor of the late Peggy Dalberto, and in collaboration with Peggy Dalberto’s family and the Friends of the Library, we are inviting the community to join us in celebrating resuming the building project with a fundraising event on October 1st 2022. The Pizza Party for a Cause will feature handmade fire-cooked pizza, silent auction, art sale, and games and will be held on the adjacent lawn beside the library. This lot was donated to the library by Walter and Marie Wartolec and is the planned site for the library expansion.
A huge thank you to all volunteers and everyone who is contributing to make this event a success! Particular mention is due the family of Peggy Dalberto, our Friends of the Library, the Stanley Correction Institution, and Ele’s Flowers, for contributing towards the silent auction baskets and items. The cost for pizza ingredients is being covered through generous donations from Citizen’s State Bank, Forward Bank, and Thrivent. This event is only possible through local support and the efforts of Peggy Dalberto’s family, particularly her daughters, Amanda and Brandy, and her husband, Barry.
