Friends of the library

The Friends of the D.R. Moon Memorial Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides critical support for the D.R. Moon Memorial Library and related literary and educational programs. The Friends raise money and their voices to help ensure a first-class public library for the Stanley community.

Meetings

Friends meetings are held at 6PM on the last Monday of the month in the upper level of the library. See library postings for more information.

You can raise money for the Friends group when you shop on Amazon. Go to Amazon Smile, search for Friends of D R Moon Public Library, and then select the Friends as your charity.

Join

The Friends group provides the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the Library as well as literary and education communities by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering.

The group welcomes the membership of any persons, corporations, or organizations who share in the purposes of the association. Fill out a short membership form online or contact the library for more information.
