Dear Community Members,
We are happy to announce that, as per the decision of the D.R. Moon Memorial Library Board, our library will be reopening on an appointment-only basis, starting June 15th. In the interests of staff and patron safety, as well as in compliance with the Chippewa County recommendations for gatherings of ten people or fewer, the library’s computers and printer services will be available by appointment.
Appointments will be available every hour from 10AM to 6PM on Mondays and Fridays. All patrons are required to wear a mask, either their own or one provided by the library, and wash their hands at the library before using the computers. Computer use is limited to necessary tasks such as work, job applications, research, homework, etc. No gaming will be allowed at this time.
In order to abide by the recommended cleaning and quarantining of materials guidelines, the bathrooms are not open and browsing will not be allowed at this time. You are welcome to use our catalog computers to find the materials you are looking for and staff will bag them up for you.
Curbside pick-up is still being offered and will be expanded to Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 10AM-6PM. We will also offer a mobile printing service: send what you want to be printed to email@example.com and arrange a time to pick it up.
For both curbside and computer/printer appointments please send us a Facebook message, an email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or give us a call (715-644-2004), to set up an appointment. Please keep in mind that if you come to the library without first making an appointment you might have to wait for an open appointment.
- Set up an appointment via phone, email, or Facebook message.
- Come to the library at the specified time and knock on the door.
- All computer/printer appointments last 45 minutes unless more time is required and available.
To ensure social distancing, please come to the library at the time specified. Each appointment expires after fifteen minutes; if you have not arrived, your spot may be given to someone else and you will have to reschedule.
Thank you for your continued patience and support. We hope to see you soon!
Stay well and take care,
